Meet @ Storm King Art Center
Located in the lower Hudson Valley, just an hour north of New York City, Storm King Art Center is widely celebrated as one of the world’s leading sculpture parks. The are more than 100 sculptures found over 500 pristine acres of fields, hills, woodlands wetlands and streams.
The monumental sculptures have the rolling Hudson Highlands and Schunnemunk Mountains fall foliage to add to the overall natural beauty and serenity of the area.
Join Michael and Beverly on this daylong journey of exploration discovering the relationship between art and nature through your camera’s lens.
Every visit to Storm King offers new discoveries as the seasons change. This workshop is outdoors and involves a great deal of walking over the rolling terrain, through fields and trails. Wear comfortable shoes; bring a picnic lunch or purchase lunch or a light snack and beverage at Storm King Café. Dress for cooler weather and bring hat and gloves.
Photographers must have a mirrorless system or a digital SLR. This workshop is designed for photographers with a working knowledge of their camera operations. This is a creative workshop, not a how to use your digital camera workshop.
We encourage carpooling and will assist you with connecting with other photographers from your area.
Mark your calendars that Sunday, October 26th is the raindate for this workshop.
