Travel insurance is recommended, especially when flying, however the choice is yours.

What is Travel Insurance and should I buy it?
We recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Travel insurance can protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances that might prevent your attendance.  We suggest a plan that offers coverage for medical and dental emergencies, lost baggage, missed connections, and trip cancellation should you have a medical problem that prevents you from attending. VPW is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies or reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets in the event of a workshop cancellation.

Who is responsible for lodging?
That depends on the VPW that you chose, see specific workshop description.

Am I responsible for transportation?
Most of our VPW require personal transportation, see specific workshop description.  We encourage carpooling because it is better for the environment, there will be fewer vehicles at the workshop location, and it gives you a chance to get to know your fellow photographers better.

To maximize your time with us, group size will seldom exceeds six participants.  Our highly qualified team will be out there with you; however they haven’t mastered the art of mind reading.  So, if you need or want more help, just ask!

How much time will be spent reviewing and critiquing?
