It’s not about the Camera! – Really!
– Alfred EisenstaedtIt’s not about the Camera!
Do you really need the latest, greatest, most expensive camera out there?
Sometimes – depending on the type of photography you are doing:
- Sports and wildlife needs a high burst rate and a telephoto lens
- Street needs a small inconspicuous camera with a normal prime lens
- Landscape needs a variety of lenses and higher megapixels
“There is nothing worse than a sharp image of a fuzzy concept.”
If you want to improve your photography, I recommend forget about all the fancy, expensive cameras, lenses, and gadgets and force yourself to go out often with one camera and one lens. When you don’t have to think about what cameras, gadgets and lenses you can think about the subject matter, gesture, composition and the light!
Focus on what your camera CAN do, not what it can’t do
And remember a top of the line, latest greatest model, expensive camera and lenses will not make a bad photograph better!
A good photograph is about YOU
the photographer – not the camera.
It’s not what camera – it’s what YOU do with the camera
